Jacques Bermon Webster I, born on April 30, 1990, also known as Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott), is an American rapper and singer. His stage name is the fusion of the name a beloved uncle and the initials of Kid Cudi (whose real identity is Scott Mescudi), Scott signed his debut major-label contract in 2012 with Epic Records. In April of 2013, Scott signed joint recording contracts with Epic and T.I. Then, he launched his Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut full-length album called the mixtape Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in 2013. In 2013 Scott self-released his first full-length album, called Owl Pharaoh. Then, he followed it up with Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was the release of his debut studio album. The hit song, "Antidote", was included on the album. The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first album to top the charts on the Billboard 200. The next year, Scott released a collaborative album with Quavo titled Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho under the group name Huncho Jack.In 2018 his third studio album, Astroworld, was released to critical acclaim and produced the first Billboard Hot 100 number one single, "Sicko Mode" (featuring Drake). Scott's album JackBoys was released late in 2019 by Cactus Jack Records. It was a top 10 hit on the Billboard 200. After the debut of his hit single "Franchise" (featuring Young Thug and M.I.A.) Scott was the first artist on The Hot 100 to have three songs make it to the top of the charts within the span of a year.
