Will Ferrell
Will Ferrell
first became well-known as a cast member for 'Saturday Night Live. Later, he
appeared in many major-screen comedies including Elf, Anchorman' and
even'Talladega Nights. Will Ferrell was raised in Irvine, California in 1967.
His comedy career began with his time as a Groundlings group member. He was an
Saturday Night Live cast member for seven years, and he was a huge comedic draw
through off-color hits like Old School 2003 and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron
Burgundy 2004. Ferrell co-founded Funny or Die video streaming service. He was
also successful as a voice actor on animated films such as Megamind (2010).
John William Ferrell is a California native, born in Irvine on July 16, 1967.
Will Ferrell was the eldest of Lee Ferrell, Righteous Brothers keyboardists,
and Kay Ferrell. As a University High School student, he was not exactly a
clown in the class. A quiet and solitary person, Ferrell chose to make his mark
on the football field, where he set a school record for the most field goals he
scored. Ferrell did not display the outrageous, humorous outbursts which would
make him famous later on in his career, even though he lived in the suburbs of
comfort.
